Overview

The Attio integration is a full bi-directional sync between Avina and your CRM.
It ensures Accounts and Contacts are enriched with Avina signals, while also pulling in Attio context to strengthen signal generation, account insights, and drafting.

Purpose

  • Create and update Accounts and Contacts in Attio automatically
  • Log Avina signals to a custom object linked to those records
  • Pull Attio CRM data (emails, meetings, deals, relationships) into Avina to enrich signals and insights
  • Give your team signal visibility directly in Attio while enhancing Avina’s prioritization and drafting

How It Works

  • Write:
    • Accounts → created or enriched when Avina identifies new companies
    • Contacts → created or enriched when Avina detects new prospects
    • Custom Object → Avina signals (e.g., job changes, web visits, intent surges) written as structured records
  • Read:
    • Avina ingests Attio CRM data, including contacts, accounts, deals, relationships, and activities
    • This context is used to generate more precise signals, improve account scoring, and draft personalized messaging

Setup

To enable Attio integration:
  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations in Avina.
  2. Select Attio.
  3. Authenticate with your Attio account.
  4. Save and verify the sync.

Use Cases

Signal Visibility in Your CRM

Every Avina signal (web visits, champion movement, new hires, ad engagement, etc.) is written to a custom object in Attio and linked to the relevant Account and Contact records. Your team can see buying intent directly inside Attio without switching tools.

Enriched Account Prioritization

Avina pulls deal history, relationships, and engagement data from Attio to produce more accurate account fit scores and signal rankings. Accounts with active deals or recent CRM activity are weighted differently than net-new prospects.

Automated CRM Updates

When Avina surfaces a new prospect via a signal, the corresponding Account and Contact are automatically created or updated in Attio. No manual data entry required.

Personalized Drafting

Attio context (deal stage, past conversations, relationship history) feeds into Avina’s AI drafting engine, producing more relevant email copy and meeting prep.

Supported Actions in Automations

When building automations, Attio supports the following destination types:
  • Create lead/contact: add new contacts discovered by signals
  • Create account/company: add new companies to Attio
  • Add signals to contacts/accounts: attach signal data to existing records

Sync Behavior

  • Initial sync: Avina pulls historical CRM data (accounts, contacts, deals, activities) when first connected.
  • Ongoing sync: new data syncs bi-directionally in near real-time.
  • De-duplication: Avina matches contacts by email and accounts by domain to prevent duplicates.
