# Tech Stack

> Find companies that just adopted, dropped, or are about to renew a technology.

## What is a Tech Stack audience?

A **Tech Stack** audience tracks changes in the technologies companies use. Pick the vendors or products you care about, then choose the event that matters to you:

* **Newly adopted:** a company just started using the technology.
* **Churned:** a company stopped using it.
* **Up for renewal:** a company's contract is coming up for renewal.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Tech Stack audiences are available on the Avina Team, Growth, and Enterprise plans, and during a free trial. On other plans you'll see an option to upgrade when you preview one.

***

## Why Tech Stack matters

* **Competitive displacement:** reach companies right before they renew a competitor's contract.
* **Complementary tools:** find companies that just adopted a product you integrate with.
* **Churn opportunities:** catch companies that just dropped a tool and may be looking for a replacement.

## Filters

| Filter | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Technologies** (required) | The vendors or products to monitor, for example Snowflake, HubSpot, or Segment. A company matching any of them qualifies. |
| **Event Type** (required) | **Newly adopted**, **Churned**, or **Up for renewal**. |
| **Days Since Adoption** / **Days Since Churn** / **Days Till Renewal** | The time window for the event you picked. For adoption and churn, how far back to look. For renewal, how far ahead to look. |
| **Company Country**, **Company Industry**, **Company Size** | Limit to companies in these countries, industries, and employee ranges. |
| **AI Qualification Criteria** | Plain-language rules Avina checks before adding a lead, for example "Only Series B or later companies based in North America." See [Lead Qualification](https://docs.avina.io/features/ai-qualification-agent.md). |

Set the **Target number of leads per day** (1–50, default 10) to control volume and credit use.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Each Tech Stack lead costs **2 credits**. See [Credits & Billing](https://docs.avina.io/platform/credits.md).

## Example audiences

* Companies whose contract with a competitor is **up for renewal**
* Companies that **newly adopted** a data warehouse you integrate with
* Companies that **churned** from a legacy tool your product replaces

***

## High-value plays

* **Renewal displacement:** enroll accounts with an upcoming competitor renewal in an [AI Sequence](https://docs.avina.io/features/ai-sequences.md) a few months before the renewal date.
* **Integration plays:** reach companies that just adopted a partner product with messaging about your integration.
* **CRM routing:** push matched accounts to your CRM with **Push Audience Match to CRM**.
